Here at Broadings Farm Caravan Park and Holiday Cottages, we like to keep it affordable so that your adventures can be longer and you can get to see more of the beautiful coastline, whilst watching the skies over the countryside, in an idyllic setting.

We welcome you to explore the surrounding areas without ever having to take your vehicle off the pitch.

There are many ways to get into the town, our personal favourite is the short walk down through Stakesby Vale, away from the traffic, bringing you out by Arundel House, avoiding that very steep hill!!

The Park and Ride is another option, walking up there is easy, up a grass verge that is quite wide, to cross at the Victoria Garden Centre, and then over a less busy road straight into the Station.

The X93 to Scarborough will also take you into Whitby, then onto Robin Hoods Bay and Scarborough. This can be boarded from the layby on Mayfield road, just after the Garage on the left hand side of the road. The X93 Middlesbrough or Guisborough will return you to the stop across the road. Please note: the bus doesn’t stop again until Aislaby so make sure you tell the driver where you want to be!

Don’t overlook the walk into Ruswarp whilst you are here, Jacksons Butchers is a great place to stock up for your delicious breakfast butties!  Walking round this way, takes you away from the road and by the railway under the Viaduct towards the Co-op car park.

The X4 bus can be boarded by the roundabout opposite Pannett Park before you reach the town, this will take you the scenic coastal route to Sandsend, Lythe Village, Ellerby, Runswick Bay, Staithes, Saltburn, Redcar, and many more places as it goes as far as Middlesbrough.
